Refreshing and cool drink for you in this hot summer days. Blend with lime, mint and maple syrup, this could be one of your cold drink favorites.
Ingredients:
Servings: 4
- 2 tsp Matcha Powder
- ¼ cup Hot Water
- 1 cup Crushed Ice
- 2 cups Cold Water
- 3 Sprigs of Fresh Mint + Extra for Garnish
- 5 tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1 Lime
Instructions:
When using immersion blender:
- In a heat-proof jug/bottle, combine matcha powder with hot water. Mix well. Add crushed ice, cold water and fresh mint. Mix with an immersion blender for a minute or two.
- Drain through a sieve. Add maple syrup and a juice from half of the lime. Taste and if happy, serve over ice and garnish with some mint leaves and a few slices of lime.
When using a food processor/blender:
- In a mug combine matcha powder with hot water. Mix well. Put crushed ice, cold water and fresh mint in a food processor/blender. Pour in the matcha tea. Pulse for about a minute.
- Drain through a sieve. Add maple syrup and a juice from half of the lime.
Garnish with some mint leaves and a few slices of lime + some extra ice (optional).
